The 2017 re-release of Kick the Buddy was released on the App Store on November 2017 as Kick The Buddy: REBORN, soon renamed to Kick The Buddy. The graphics are better, the quotes are improved, and gold introduced. Buddy has been upgraded and there are new weapons introduced. Diamond Membership is also a new addition, with some weapons part of it. When you attack Buddy, he says various quotes.

"What’s wrong with you?!”
"You’re a terrible person!"
"H2O No!”
"Uhh.. No."
"Why, God?! Why?!"
"Choose something else.”
"I’m Burning!!!"
"Open the Window!"
"Stop, drop and roll!"

Also, Buddy will die depending on what weapon you use.
